OVERVIEW

QuietShare is an open-source ephemeral file sharing app that enables anyone to send files anonymously to registered recipients without logging in. It is an exploratory project designed for journalists, reporters, or anyone who wants to send or receive files discreetly.

THE PROBLEM

How to enable journalists and reporters to securely send files or messages quickly, discreetly, and anonymously without logging in or signing into an account.

WHAT I DID

I co-developed the app. I worked on UX research, brand design, logo design, strategic design, frontend development, motion design, visual interface, UX/UI, and designed presentation. I built the information architecture, diagrams, wireframes, and clickable rapid prototype to visualize the concept and get user feedback.

DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE

How to identify a secure python-based API. We had to find an API that was safe, secure, and simple to understand and implement. We chose the WeTransfer API with a python package and easy interaction located in Amsterdam.

RESULTS

Built wireframe, diagram, info architecture and clickable rapid prototype to visualize the concept and get user feedback. The prototype gained positive user feedback and reinforced the need for a quick and easy file-sharing app.
